Overview SUMMER 2027 Shure offers a challenging, fun, and rewarding summer internship program. The twelve-week program is offered to undergraduate and graduate students. We offer internships with a variety of work arrangements from onsite interns to fully remote in US. Each intern will receive a competitive salary. Additionally, Interns who are asked to relocate to Illinois for onsite internships will receive a housing stipend to cover living expenses. Applications will be collected, reviewed, and selected candidates will be contacted in late fall/early winter. As the Electrical Engineering Intern (Digital Circuitry & Test Automation) , you will work under the close direction of senior staff on the design, implementation, and automated testing of electronic circuits for wireless microphones, signal processors, and conference systems. This internship is on-site, based in Niles, IL. Responsibilities Developing and maintaining automated test scripts and frameworks for circuit validation Designing automated test fixtures and interfaces for production and prototype testing Designing, simulating, and testing digital circuitry Developing printed circuit board assemblies Assembling prototypes Programming automated test sequences using instruments such as oscilloscopes, signal analyzers, and audio measurement systems Performing automated and manual validation testing at the circuit, sub-system, and system level Circuit defect analysis and resolution using data collected from automated
