You will join the Database Engineering team, responsible for maintaining secure, reliable and scalable database services. Working closely with engineers and business users, you will support database operations and translate business requirements into practical database solutions, with a primary focus on PostgreSQL. Your Future Role within QRT You will... Administer, maintain and secure PostgreSQL databases across on-premises and cloud environments. Monitor database health, troubleshoot issues and improve performance and availability. Maintain and test backup, recovery and disaster recovery procedures. Support database design, high availability, capacity planning and upgrades. Manage database access and permissions in line with security requirements. Work with engineers and business users to understand data requirements and resolve database issues. Automate routine administration tasks and maintain clear operational documentation.
