Description: Remote Our client seeks a Senior Android Developer to lead the design, development, and maintenance of core Android applications. The role will collaborate with product managers, UX/UI designers, and backend engineers to deliver scalable, high-performance, and user-friendly experiences. The developer will mentor junior and mid-level engineers and guide technical architecture decisions. We can facilitate w2 and corp-to-corp consultants. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance. 00/hr. w2 Responsibilities Design & Build: Develop advanced, resilient, and responsive Android applications from scratch or enhance existing large-scale codebases. Architecture: Own application architecture such as MVVM, MVP, or Clean Architecture and ensure adherence to SOLID principles and design patterns. API Integration: Integrate with RESTful APIs, JSON, WebSockets, and backend services. Optimization & Quality: Profile performance, address memory leaks, reduce crashes and ANRs, and implement unit and instrumentation tests using JUnit and Espresso. Collaboration & Mentorship: Participate in Agile ceremonies, perform code reviews, and mentor team members. CI/CD & Deployment: Manage Git-based source control, contribute to automated CI/CD pipelines, and support Google Play Store release management.
