Who we are
The data controller is the Zorky service (zorky.tech): job listings, a candidate account and a company account. Data requests — via the request form, by email to hr@zorky.tech or Telegram @termdocs.
What data and where from
- From you: name, contacts, professional details and CV — when you sign up, apply or write to us.
- From public sources: what a person has published themselves — public developer profiles (GitHub, GitLab, Stack Overflow, Habr and similar), open job-search threads (e.g. Hacker News), public Telegram channels and job boards. We do not collect private channels or direct messages.
- Technical: IP address, browser data, sign-in log; web analytics — see cookies.
Why
To match jobs to candidates and candidates to companies, to run accounts and to protect the service from abuse. Public-source data is processed until the person asks us to stop (for EU residents — legitimate interest, GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)); account data — on your consent and the service terms. We do not use data for advertising and do not sell it.
Where and how long
Data may be processed and stored on servers outside the user’s country, including in the USA. We keep data while it is needed for these purposes or while the account exists; profiles that have not been updated for a long time are anonymised. Backups are kept for a limited time and deleted on a schedule. We apply organisational and technical safeguards.
Your rights and deletion
You can find out what data we hold about you, correct it, withdraw consent, object to processing or have your data deleted. Use the request form, hr@zorky.tech or Telegram @termdocs — we respond within one month. After deletion companies lose access to the contacts; backups keep the data until they are deleted on schedule. EU residents may also complain to the supervisory authority in their country.
