Role – Senior Java BackEnd developer Compensation – Competitive (including bonus) Job Description We are looking for a Senior Java Backend Developer to join our team in Gothenburg. You will be part of a diverse DevOps team working in two-week sprints and ten-week program increments to deliver connectivity solutions In this role, you will focus on backend development using Java and AWS technologies, working closely with a global team in an Agile environment. We are looking for someone who is technically strong, collaborative, open to feedback and keen to contribute to continuous improvement. Key responsibilities Design, develop and maintain robust Java backend applications and services. Contribute to the development of cloud-based and serverless solutions on AWS. Work within a DevOps and Agile environment, contributing throughout the development lifecycle. Apply Test-Driven Development (TDD) practices to support high-quality and maintainable code. Participate actively in code reviews, providing and receiving constructive feedback. Collaborate with team members and stakeholders across a global working environment. Contribute to the scalability, performance and reliability of backend solutions. Support continuous improvement of development, testing and deployment practices. Required Minimum 7+ years of total IT-related experience, with hands-on Java backend development experience.
