About the Role The Database Engineer designs, builds, administers, and improves the data platforms that support Clover Sonoma's dairy manufacturing, warehousing, distribution, finance, sales, and reporting operations. The role is responsible to design, build, and support enterprise data pipelines from SAP S/4HANA in SAP RISE through SAP HANA Cloud and into an AWS Data Lake. This role will implement a Medallion Architecture—Bronze, Silver, and Gold layers—to deliver governed, reliable, and Power BI-ready datasets. Working closely with IT, business leaders, application owners, implementation partners, and data and analytics teams, the Database Engineer translates operational needs into durable technical solutions. The position also helps strengthen master data integrity, production support, reporting accuracy, and business continuity across a time-sensitive food manufacturing and distribution environment.
