At the core of the role We are looking for an experienced Senior QA Engineer to join a project in the banking sector with a strong focus on finance and accounting systems. You will independently design and execute tests based on business and system analysis, prepare complex test scenarios and test data, and analyze defects. A solid understanding of accounting principles or hands-on experience testing accounting systems is key for this role. Core skills you’ll bring Strong knowledge of finance and accounting, including chart of accounts, account analytics, accounting principles and rules, or demonstrable experience testing accounting systems Experience with testing accounting systems; participation in an accounting system replacement project is highly relevant Ability to independently analyze requirements and prepare test cases, complex test data and test prerequisites Ability to provide effort estimates for test preparation and execution activities Proficiency with JIRA and Zephyr, particularly for test case management, imports and defect management Familiarity with Enterprise Architect and UML Knowledge of both Waterfall and Agile software delivery methodologies Basic knowledge of tools used f
