Data Engineer, Client Reporting (Contract) Location: Singapore Contract Type: 6-12 months contract (Extendable & Convertible) Keywords: Python, SQL, Data Pipelines, Data Integration, Data Modelling, Data Quality, Data Governance, Production Support, Agile Company/Role Overview A technology organisation is looking for a Data Engineer to support a client reporting environment across data engineering, system enhancement and ongoing production support activities. The role will work closely with business analysts, stakeholders, users and technology teams to understand requirements, design appropriate data solutions, maintain data quality and reliability, and support the day-to-day operation of data platforms and pipelines. Key Responsibilities • Work closely with business analysts, stakeholders, users and technology teams to understand business requirements, user journeys, functional specifications and data requirements. • Design, build, test and maintain scalable data pipelines, data models and data integration solutions that support business and operational needs. • Translate functional and data requirements into reliable and maintainable technical designs aligned with defined user journeys. • Source, ingest, transform and curate data from multiple internal and external systems for downstream consumption and analytics. • Work with business analysts to validate data logic, business rules, data mappings and transformation requirements, including data profiling, reconciliation and
