Job Description As a Senior Data Scientist in Smart Manufacturing & AI (SMAI), you will work with global planning, manufacturing, and supply chain teams to identify high-value business problems and deliver end-to-end optimization, simulation, and digital twin solutions. We are looking for a full-stack solution developer who can translate ambiguous business challenges into scalable products and production-ready solutions. You will be expected to be capable of working across the entire solution lifecycle, including problem framing, data understanding, modeling, software development, deployment, user adoption, and value realization. Successful candidates are intellectually curious, highly independent, and capable of navigating complex and ambiguous business environments while delivering measurable business outcomes. Responsibilities include, but not limited to: Partner with stakeholders from Micron manufacturing, planning and supply chain departments to identify, analyze, and solve complex business problems. Design, develop, and deploy digital twin solutions using Operations Research, mathematical optimization, and Discrete Event Simulation techniques. Design and develop production-grade applications, including data pipelines, data cleaning, modeling engines, APIs, and user-interface applications. Transform large and diverse datasets into actionable insights, decision-support tools, and scalable software solutions. Drive deployment, adoption, benchmarking, and continuous improve
