Why This Role Matters The RNE (Registration, Numbers and Enablement) group within Vonage's Foundation Engineering department works across four core product domains: Registration, Numbers, Number Intelligence, and Know Your Customer (KYC). Our backend engineers face exciting challenges associated with high-performance, distributed systems and processing large volumes of data in real time. We work on an exciting mix of both greenfield and existing projects, giving engineers the opportunity to explore new technologies. What You Will Do Develop and maintain highly concurrent and distributed backend services; Contribute to architectural discussions and help shape technical decisions within the team; Design, develop and test new features with a strong focus on quality and reliability; Profile and optimise system performance, diagnosing and resolving issues proactively; Support the release and documentation of developed features; Estimate effort required to develop and implement solutions; Contribute to coding standards and de
