Title: Java Developer Location: Missouri (Day 1 Onsite) Experience: 5+ Years Responsibilities Provide full life cycle development with JAVA. Understand coding standards and implement them within code being developed. Ability to troubleshoot problems and provide solutions. Ability to communicate with the users to determine problems or design requirements. Ability to work on a team to complete programming projects in a timely manner. Ability to document changes and follow the Systems Development Life Cycle process independently. Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks. Other duties assigned by the Manager of Application Development . Required Skills: Experience in JAVA programming, and programming in a Tomcat environment (Java Servlets, JSP). Knowledge of: JAVA, JavaScript, JDBC, SQL, Gradle, HTML, React, and CSS Design Tokens. Experience with or demonstrated ability to learn: Spring Boot, Tomcat, Spring Data JPA, and Containers/Docker/Kubernetes. Front-end experience with React, CSS Modules and React Query. A willingness to build against a design-token source (CSS Design Tokens) that generates CSS, Swift and Android outputs. Experience working with RESTful web services, JSON, and XML is desired; familiarity with API security using OAuth 2.0 and OIDC with PKCE and per-endpoint scope enforcement is a plus.
