Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) / QA Full-time/Company: Startale Group Startale is building StartaleApp, a next-generation Web3 application that unifies blockchain and DeFi functionality into a single user experience. The platform integrates multiple blockchain networks, smart contracts, wallets, tokens, and on-chain protocols across frontend, backend, and decentralized systems. Applicants must be located in Singapore, Tokyo, or within APAC/Asia, EMEA, or the UK. Responsibilities: - Design and build the company’s quality engineering platform - Define testing architecture across unit, integration, contract, API, and end-to-end tests - Build reusable testing frameworks, shared libraries, fixtures, and developer tooling - Design and implement AI-assisted QA workflows (test generation, failure analysis, regression detection) - Integrate automated testing into CI/CD with fast feedback and automated quality gates - Validate complex Web3/DeFi flows, smart contracts, wallets, token operations and transaction lifecycles - Develop performance, load, stress and resilience testing for services and Web3 infrastructure Requirements: - 5+ years in SDET, Quality Engineering, Test Automation, or Software Engineering roles - Strong software engineering skills with JavaScript or TypeScript - Experience designing testing architecture for complex distributed systems - Built scalable automation frameworks and reusable testing libraries - Experience with Playwright or Cyp
