Description

Accountabilities - Administer, maintain, and support Oracle Database and Microsoft SQL Server environments associated with TOTVS Protheus ERP. - Manage production, testing, and development database environments, ensuring high availability, stability, integrity, and operational efficiency. - Monitor database performance, resource consumption, availability, and capacity, proactively identifying risks and opportunities for improvement. - Execute, validate, and maintain backup and recovery procedures to protect business-critical data and support operational continuity. - Analyze and optimize SQL queries, indexes, database configurations, and critical processes to improve performance and response times. - Support the installation, configuration, and maintenance of Protheus environments, including DBAccess and AppServer components. - Perform database tuning, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis to resolve complex performance and operational issues. - Support database migrations, version upgrades, environment updates, and database transfers, ensuring consistency and minimizing operational disruption. - Monitor database jobs, blocking sessions, deadlocks, and database growth to prevent incidents and maintain system reliability. - Implement and maintain database security policies, access controls, and auditing procedures in line with operational requirements. - Provide technical support to development, infrastructure, and functional consulting teams, contributing to effective prob
