Description

We are seeking an exceptional, client-facing Field Applications Engineer to join our team. Driven by commercial impact, you will partner directly with enterprise clients to architect, build, and deploy technical solutions leveraging Equal1’s silicon spin QPUs. This role requires outstanding communication skills to bridge complex technical systems with high-stakes enterprise execution. The Field Applications department is the commercial strike team engineered for high-stakes execution. We deliver quantum computing to the market by uniting software systems integration, scientific formulation, and compelling technical storytelling to close enterprise deals. Operating at the intersection of business, quantum information science, and software / hardware / systems engineering, our team serves as the vital bridge between internal R&D teams, business partners, external collaborators, and clients. Main Duties and Responsibilities Serve as the primary technical point of contact for commercial engagements. Establish technical credibility with client executives and engineering teams during discovery, pre-sales, through sale and delivery. Deliver live technical pitches, represent the company at industry events / conferences, and run on-site or remote hardware and software demonstrations. Assess customer infrastructure and technical requirements, understand Equal1’s system capabilities, and act as a bridge between customers and internal engineering teams to architect suitable solutions and
