We are looking for 2x Senior Test Automation Engineer to one of our clients within Banking & Finance . Start date: [phone] End date: [phone] Location: Stockholm About the assignment: You will join the Fund Trading Platform team to develop and maintain scalable test automation frameworks for investment funds trading systems. The role combines automated and manual testing across functional, integration, and end-to-end scenarios in a distributed architecture. You will work closely with Development, DevOps, and Product Management to integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines. Core Responsibilities • Design and develop scalable, reusable test automation frameworks supporting multiple projects • Automate functional, regression, integration, system, and end-to-end testing with robust scripts and comprehensive coverage • Plan, design, and execute manual test cases for functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing • Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and drive continuous improvement of test processes • Validate complex integrations, backend services, messaging flows, and database interactions across distributed systems • Prepare test data, analyze results, and report defects clearly to stakeholders Profile & Qualifications • Senior-level experience in manual and automated testing of complex backend-heavy and distributed systems • Holistic quality mindset with understanding of when manual testing adds value alongside automation • Strong object-oriented
