Description
Keep a global filings platform fast, correct and calm to run, from the database to the API. FinancialFilings is a Django monolith on Postgres with Celery workers. It turns millions of company filings into clean text and structured data, and serves them through a REST API, webhooks and an MCP server to customers who notice when a number is wrong. You would own parts of it end to end: what to build, how to test it, and whether the output is right. What you'll do Build and run the pipelines that turn documents into structured data Keep the API, webhooks and MCP server fast at our data volume Find and fix data-quality problems before a customer does Write the tests, ship to production and own what you shipped What you bring Strong Python, Django and Postgres, including slow queries you made fast Something you have run in production, and fixed when it broke Familiarity with AI coding and agent tools, and the habit of reviewing what they write Care for correctness: a wrong figure is worse than a missing one What we offer Contract to start, with a path to full-time and equity Remote, from anywhere You work directly with the founders, and your work ships The tools you need, paid for Remote, from anywhere.
