Job Description –Software test engineer (Mid) Our NielsenIQ technology teams are working on our new Connected platform, a unified, global, open data ecosystem powered by Microsoft Azure. As an automated test engineer, you’ll be part of a talented software team that works on end-to-end testing for our core suite of mission-critical applications. Our testers are true software engineers - designing and writing automated tests on new or existing software – an essential part of the software development cycle. We use automated frameworks to build programs and write highly efficient test scripts. Partner with Product and Development teams to capture test case requirementsPlan, analyse, write & execute automated test scriptsAutomate & carry out regression testing scripts using Java with playwrightLeverage automated test frameworks to build test suitesInvestigate problems in software as a result of testingPartner with QA analysts and software developers to find solutionsExecute cases, report defects, define severity and prioritize defects 3-6 years of software development and/or automated testing experienceHands-on automation experience in frameworks and scripting, preferably in Java with playwright/ Selenium with the ability to define, design and implement robust, scalable, and high-quality test suitesGood knowledge o
