Senior Backend Engineer About the role We are hiring a Senior Backend Engineer to join a large-scale public sector digital programme in Singapore. You will work within a multi-disciplinary delivery team building and running mission-critical public-facing systems on Azure. Key responsibilities Design and develop server-side application logic Build and maintain APIs and microservices Perform database design and optimisation Implement security and performance controls What you will bring Minimum 5 years in backend microservices; projects of 1,000+ man-days; led a team of at least 5 members Java/.NET/Node.js REST/GraphQL APIs SQL/NoSQL Microservices Azure CI/CD Git Security best practices Qualifications & certifications Degree/Diploma in CS/IT or related Work arrangement Location: Singapore, on-site at client premises Employment type: Contract / Permanent / Full Time Working days: Monday to Friday The successful candidate must be able to obtain the required government security clearance before starting Candidates with existing CAT security clearance will be preferred Interested candidates can send their CV directly to [email]
