We're looking for innovative, passionate, and talented people like you to join our team. We’re searching for a Senior Data Engineer to be part of our IT Department diverse team of talent. You will be responsible to design, build and operate trusted, scalable data solutions for SSMC’s manufacturing and enterprise data platform. The Senior Data Engineer will independently enable data discovery, onboarding, integration, replication and consumption; strengthen data quality, governance and security; and apply forward-looking technologies to support analytics, digitalisation and strategic business initiatives. This is a 1 year contract. What you will be working on: Design, develop, and maintain data tracks and reusable data products on the SSMC Data Platform using MinIO, StarRocks, and other modern data technologies. Develop and optimize end-to-end data ingestion, integration, replication, and analytics pipelines. Support and enhance data platform services, including storage, data access, metadata, and data lifecycle management.
