Description

We are looking for a GCP Data Engineer to one of our clients within Banking & Finance . Start date: [phone] End date: [phone] Location: Stockholm (3 days onsite, 2 days remote) About the assignment: You will join a strategic initiative to develop a next-generation cloud data warehouse platform in GCP. This cross-functional team focuses on delivering end-to-end data solutions while collaborating closely with business and technical stakeholders. As a senior team member, you will provide technical leadership through mentoring, code reviews, and contributing to architectural decisions. Core Responsibilities • Design and implement data integration solutions, data models, and scalable data pipelines within GCP • Monitor, troubleshoot, and ensure reliability and performance of data platforms and pipelines • Lead data onboarding processes and integrate data from multiple source systems • Conduct code reviews, mentor developers, and promote best practices across the team • Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines with focus on automation and operational excellence Profile & Qualifications • Senior-level data engineer with extensive experience in cloud data platform development • Strong background in DevOps principles, automation, and platform reliability • Proven experience in Agile development environments with cross-functional collaboration • Ability to provide technical leadership and contribute to architecture decisions • Full professional proficiency in English, both written a
