Description About the Role We are seeking an experienced DevSecOps / Cloud Platform Engineer to design, automate, secure, and operate ATLAS, the VA’s open-architected, multi-cloud enterprise data management and analytics platform. This hands-on role will build reliable infrastructure and shared platform services across Azure and AWS, automate the delivery of data applications and pipelines, and strengthen interoperability among the enterprise platforms used to ingest, condition, curate, and publish multi-source data as consumable data products. You will partner with architects, data engineers, developers, security teams, and government stakeholders to standardize environments, improve CI/CD, observability, resilience, and governance, and ensure consistent, secure access to trusted data. Your work will enable data scientists, analysts, and product teams to deliver insights that support evidence-based decisions and improve outcomes for Veterans and their families. Key Responsibilities Design, build, and operate secure, scalable platform environments across Azure and AWS for development, testing, and production workloads. Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Infrastructure as Code and configuration-management practices with tools such as Terraform, Bicep, CloudFormation, Ansible, or Packer. Develop, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines that integrate automated testing, security scanning, compliance checks, artifact management, and controlled deploy
