Описание

We are seeking a Software Engineer to develop, maintain and support enterprise applications within the banking and financial services domain. The role requires hands-on experience in Java programming, SQL/PLSQL, Oracle or Sybase databases, and Unix/Linux Shell scripting, with a focus on backend development, batch processing and application support. Key Responsibilities Develop, test and maintain Java applications using Core Java, OOP concepts, exception handling and Java Collections Framework. Write and execute SQL queries, joins, subqueries and PL/SQL procedures, functions and packages. Support database operations using Oracle or Sybase, including data validation, query optimisation and troubleshooting. Develop and maintain Unix/Linux Shell scripts using Bash or KornShell (Ksh) for file processing, job execution and task automation. Execute and monitor batch jobs, scheduled tasks, file transfers and backend data processing workflows. Perform application debugging, log analysis, defect investigation and basic root cause analysis. Conduct unit testing, integration testing, bug fixing and deployment verification. Assist with production support, incident resolution, application releases and change requests. Maintain source code, technical documentation, test cases and operational procedures.
